Describes the general and performance requirements of light alloy wheel rim intended for use on two and three wheeled motor vehicles with or without side car.
2.1 General
2.1.1 Alloy rim should be produced in the design or technical document of production base.
2.1.2 Alloy rim surface should not have visual cracks, defects.
2.1.3 In alloy rim, it is required to mark diameter code and nominal width code of rim (reference to Annex F) at visual positions after tyre assembly.

2.2 Bending moment bearing capacity
After the test of bending moment bearing capacity (as per Annex A), alloy rim surface is appeared cracks, visual deformations or any unusual unclutching at joints.
2.3 Radial load capacity
After the test of radial load capacity (as per Annex B), alloy rim surface is appeared cracks, visual deformations or any unusual unclutching at joints.
2.4 Radial impact bearing capacity
After the test of radial impact bearing capacity (as per Annex C), alloy rim surface is appeared cracks, visual deformations or any unusual unclutching at joints or sudden air leak due to damaged rim.
2.5 Torque bearing capacity
After the test of torque bearing capacity (as per Annex D), alloy rim surface is appeared cracks, visual deformations or any unusual unclutching at joints.
2.6 Tubeless rim air tight
After the test of air tight (as per Annex E), it is not permitted to have air tight through alloy rim expressed in visual air bubbles.
